Pink
American singer and songwriter Pink is one of today’s best-selling artists, selling more than 90 million records throughout her career. She has consistently been of the entertainment scene’s highest-paid singers. Outside of music, she has amassed millions of dollars and a high credit score by endorsing companies such as Sony Ericsson, CoverGirl, Polo, T-Mobile, and more.
Pink auditioned for and joined the female music group Basic Instinct at age 14. After the group disbanded two years later, she later formed the singing group Choice along with Chrissy Conway and Sharon Flanagan. After Choice went on a hiatus, Pink pursued a solo career and signed a contract with LaFace Records. Thanks to her successful debut, she garnered Billboard’s Female New Artist of the Year in 2000. Since then, she has been noted for challenging the norms of the music industry and breaking boundaries, always finding ways to create her own sound.
