George Clooney

American actor George Clooney has done almost everything since entering the industry in 1978. He’s had countless projects as an actor and is also a producer, a director, and a philanthropist. Before that, though, Clooney had to jump through hoops to get to where he is now. Nonetheless, all his efforts eventually paid up.

The actor started as an extra and worked in shows like Centennial, The Facts of Life, and The Golden Girls. Then, in 1994, Clooney began his ascent to Hollywood superstardom after being cast to play the role of Dr. Doug Ross in the series ER. He continued bagging roles during and after the series, mostly TV roles. It was his role in the film Ocean’s Eleven that really fast-tracked his career to success and catapulted him to international recognition. Clooney is also a busy father and a husband to his lawyer wife, Amal.
