Angelina Jolie

One of the most prominent actresses of the 21st century, Angelina Jolie has never lived a day without avoiding the spotlight.  While she became committed to her career in 1991, the spotlight proved to be quite elusive for her. Some of her first acting credits were in five films produced by her brother, James Haven. Despite her early difficulty, she eventually made her way up the notability ladder. By 2001, she had become a prominent star, thanks in no small part to her role as Lara Croft in the film adaptation of the Tomb Raider video game series.

Today, Jolie has become one of Hollywood’s most recognizable names. Many became familiar with her thanks to her relationship with Brad Pitt, dubbed Brangelina. While they have called it quits since 2019, their relationship was once one for the ages. Aside from acting, Jolie has devoted her time to various humanitarian causes, with her being a goodwill ambassador for UNHCR being one of them.
