Pierce Brosnan
Pierce Brosnan has been one of the most well-known actors today. He first rose to prominence with his appearance as the titular character in Remington Steele during the 1980s and early 1990s. However, it was his role as James Bond, starting with GoldenEye in 1995, that catapulted him to international stardom. He continued to play the British secret agent in three more movies until 2002, with his last film as Bond being Die Another Day.
In addition to mainstream success, Brosnan has taken roles in critically-acclaimed films and TV series such as The Matador, The Ghost Writer, The Thomas Crown Affair, and Nancy Astor. He has received recognition thanks to his acting, including two Golden Globes. Today, he has devoted his time with his wife of two decades, Keely Shaye Smith, and to humanitarian work. A part of his investment money has always been allocated for charity since the 1990s.
