Taye Diggs

Taye Diggs is one of those celebrities who is multi-talented. His degree in Musical Theater helped him make a name for himself as a stage actor. He was quite active in performing on stage while he was in New Hampshire. His debut in Broadway was for the musical, Carousel, which won several Tony Awards. It was in Rent that Diggs sealed the deal and established himself as a talented stage actor. This is also where he found his first love, Idina Menzel.

With the kind of talent that Diggs has, it wasn’t difficult to transition to acting on both TV and on film. He appeared in Guiding Light then worked on his film debut with How Stella Got Her Groove Back. His talent in acting was called for as a mentor to America’s Next Top Model hopefuls. Though Diggs and Menzel parted ways after a decade of being married, theirs was an amicable split, and are co-parenting their only son.
