Elijah Wood had started acting at a young age when he was doing commercials in his hometown in Iowa. Seeing that he has a knack for being an actor, his parents contacted the moving company and move to LA, where he got a part in the making of the music video, Forever Your Girl, by Paula Abdul. He later appeared in various films like The Good Son, Flipper, and North before taking on more teen roles like Deep Impact and The Ice Storm.

But it was in The Lord of the Rings trilogy, that the actor became known for. He took on the role of Frodo Baggins who went on a quest to destroy The One Ring. And it seems that the power of Sauron’s One Ring has rubbed off on the actor since he hasn’t aged a day. Currently, Wood is enjoying being a dad with his partner Mette-Marie Kongsved, a Danish producer. For sure, with his current net worth, he knows where to put his investments for his growing family.
