Haley Joel Osment

With his breakthrough film The Sixth Sense in 1999, M. Night Shyamalan introduced his characteristic plot twists to the big screen for the first time. Haley Joel Osment played the troubled Cole Sear in the film at the age of 11. Cole was just a regular youngster trying to make sense of his strange abilities, which he summarized with the phrase “I see dead people.”

After delivering the memorable line that would become the punch line of many jokes and parodies, Osment maintained his acting projects with roles in Pay It Forward and The Country Bears. Osment rose to stardom as the voice of Sora in the Disney computer game Kingdom Hearts. Osment went on to star in several comedic films, being given credits for The Spoils of Babylon and Silicon Valley. He also appeared in the Ted Bundy film Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil, and Vile.
