You’ve probably seen a lot of Reese Witherspoon lately if you’ve been watching Big Little Lies. But can you recall what she looked like in the past? Witherspoon had dreamed and hoped for something to come her way since she was a little girl from Louisiana, and when she was in her late twenties, everything seemed to happen so quickly that she was already a well-known figure throughout the world.

The actress began acting as a teenager in the mid-1990s, but her big break came when she was in her early twenties and landed a significant role in the 1999 thriller Cruel Intentions. Her popularity skyrocketed in 2001 when she played soon-to-be lawyer Elle Woods in the film Legally Blonde! The Academy Award-winning actress became associated with the beloved comedy, and she returned in 2003 to reprise her part. Witherspoon cemented her place in history two years after the triumph of Legally Blonde 2 and has done a lot in her career, but we have a feeling she’s just starting to gas her pedal.
