Harrison Ford
Harrison Ford’s rise to international fame began when he played the role of Han Solo in the world-famous Star Wars trilogy. His popularity was further launched when he played the titular character in the Indiana Jones movie series. Ford is also known for dramatic and action roles, including Blade Runner, The Fugitive, and Patriot Games, among many others.
Harrison first sparked an interest in acting while earning his college diploma. According to him, he decided to embark on drama class to get over his shyness, but he easily became hooked on acting. He then appeared in several local theater productions after college. However, in order to support his family of four, he had to make ends meet and worked as a carpenter. By chance, he did some carpentry work for Francis Ford Coppola and George Lucas, and those two received due credit for helping Ford become famous.
