Michiel Huisman
Michiel Huisman’s face is likely familiar to you, even if you don’t know his name. Chances are you’ve already fallen in love with the actor after watching him in one of his minor parts.
Huisman has been in the entertainment business since he was 10 years old, alternating between acting and music. He was a part of the band Fontane during the early years of his career. He landed his first significant American role as tortured busker Sonny on HBO’s Treme in 2010. The actor then went on to star opposite three of Hollywood’s most beloved leading ladies in quick succession after that. In 2014, Huisman appeared on BBC America’s Orphan Black as Cal Morrison, and in the same year, he took over as Daario Naharis on HBO’s Game of Thrones. He continued making headway in moviemaking and appeared on World War Z and continues to rack up acting credits. The Age of Adaline is his Hollywood debut.
