Keanu Reeves
Keanu Reeves discovered his love of performance in high school after playing a part in a Romeo and Juliet school production. Starting with minor roles on Canadian television, stage productions, and commercials, he first appeared on the silver screen in Youngblood, in 1986. He then won various co-starring parts, including the critically-acclaimed River’s Edge. He achieved box office success with the 1989 hit Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure and went on to star in both major and independent movies.
Reeves entered the A-list club with the achievement of the 1994 action flick Speed, which garnered two Academy Awards and total gross revenue of over $350 million worldwide. He experienced further success after winning the lead role in The Matrix franchise. His work as Neo was well-received by the critics and audience, and his subsequent acting credit in John Wick solidified his status as a lead actor.
